Tata Motors has launched the latest generation Indica which was displayed at the Auto Expo 2008 in New Delhi. The Indica is being launched under the name Indica Vista to distinguish it from the older version which will also be sold alongside. The Indica Vista is being launched at the dealer level today (23rd August 08). The Indica Vista would be launched with a 65 bhp 1.2 litre petrol and 75 bhp 1.4 litre multijet diesel engine sourced from Fiat.

The Indica Vista comes with a 24 months (75000 km) standard warranty. Seven variants of the Indica Vista priced from Rs.3.49 lakhs ex-showroom Delhi for the 1.2L petrol Safire at the low end to Rs.4.88 lakhs ex-showroom Delhi for the top end 1.3L diesel Quadrajet. The Indica V2 will continue to be sold alongside the Vista and amongst both models, buyers will have a wide price range to choose from between Rs 2.6 lakhs to Rs.4.88 lakhs.
