Ford has released official pictures of the 2010 C-Max hatchback ahead of its debut at this month’s Frankfurt Auto Show. This compact hatchback from Ford is a European model and currently sells primarily in Europe. The current generation C-Max is known for its quality interiors, interior space, agile handling and a range of fuel efficient diesels. The new C-Max will be based on the next-generation Focus chassis.

Touted as being a "compact multi-activity vehicle", the 2010 C-Max will roll into European showrooms by mid 2010 though it might not make it to India. The new hatchback will be powered by a new fuel efficient 1.6 litre Eco Boost 4-cylinder turbo engine with and direct-injection. The power and torque figures are likely to be announced at the Frankfurt Auto Show along with mileage figures and the feature list.
