Audi India has launched the refreshed 2010 Q7 at a press function held at the Grand Hotel, New Delhi. The best selling Audi model has been a favorite with luxury SUV buyers and Audi wants to hold on to its marketshare with this mildly updated version. The mid-life facelift does not elevate the SUV's performance in anyways but aims at increasing the 'oomph' factor and passenger comfort and convenience.
On the outside, new bits include new LED headlights and turn indicators, LED tail lights and a revised front grille. The headlights are cornering adaptable now. On the inside a new voice control system is now available, which enables the driver to use a mobile phone or music system by calling out the name of a song or a phone number.
The new Q7 comes with the existing three engines and is priced at Rs 53 lakh upwards. Audi has seen phenomenal growth in India and in the year of its centenary celebrations has already sold 1,128 vehicles, a 62% growth from last year.
More details are soon expected from the press event, so stay tuned.
